Tagaloa Scholarships

Early Intervention Study Award
The Early Intervention Study Award is an annual study award offered by New Zealand's Ministry of Education to support early childhood teachers and early intervention teachers in pursuing the Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Early Intervention) at Massey University. The award provides comprehensive financial support including a contribution towards travel and accommodation for block courses, full coverage of domestic tuition fees paid directly to Massey University, and an employer contribution to cover teacher release time for up to 50 study leave days per year. This award is specifically designed for registered teachers with current practicing certificates who are employed either by the Ministry of Education, an accredited early intervention service provider, or a licensed early childhood service.
